Little help needed

Post by DanielOLP » Thu Jan 14, 2010 6:50 am

It has been a long while but I tried to return to the old game and found that it is no longer around but this one has been born. I was just wondering if there was a guilded version in this game? Things just don't look the same and sometimes change takes a while to get used to. Thanks

Welcome back, mate!

There is currently no guilded game, but the quad-based game (Classic/Domination) sort of allows mini-guilds. :)

You should ask the Kaz about that...

Try not to turn 'all' the help threads into spam guys ;)

As for guilds, there is currently no backend coded to enable guilds. This will not happen until we have partially recoded the game.

Archangel was working on the first phase of recode while I was working on getting the portal and active games running and tweaked. I have been awol now since mid december and am not sure whether Arch is still actively working on the recode.

I am pretty sure that I wont be available for coding for another month or so, and there would be at least 6 months after that, before we can add guilds again.

Guilded games will eventually return, but not for a while.

For now, you have domination

Not sure there's enough player base for a good guilds game, either. But I could (and would be glad to) be wrong.

You'd probably be surprised by the number of people that we would get out of the woodwork if guilds came back and word was spread a little.

Granted, I could be wrong, but I think a lot of us have a huge soft spot for this game in our hearts. :)

The guilded game was Always the largest population game. Always. Nothing else came close. So I believe that a lot of people would come out of the woodwork, IF a guilded game was re-introduced.

Glad ya'll are back with the original Monarchy.

I've been away for about 10 years.

I was wondering about guilds as well and asked as much, though no reply, I just assumed the quads were the new guilds...and it seesm that's confirmed.

Glad to be back, but I've got a beef, wheres the Logour for XX hours for extra turns. I'm going on two days and still not at max turns... QQ.
