I should have mentioned myself to be summoned. I didn't think about that. I suppose cause I come and float around the boards every once in a while I forgot I was inactive. I remember playing when I was 13. Now I'm 28. When I moved to Florida from Cali I met who would be my best friend for the 2 years that I lived there. He had a friend who played. And a cousin of his play as well as his mother. I remember playing for ISA before my friend making a clan called Blood of Heroes. Dysh was the first person I met in the game. It was a massive guild. It was a massive game. This is when there was dial up connection and there was nothing with graphics like nowadays or consoles you can play online. I had chess and this. This is the time when chat rooms were fun and I use to meet girls and have them play this game. My best friend of recent time was convinced to play with me in Cindy's AI. Too bad he was incarcerated and deported. My highlights are playing for the first time when the game was huge. I mean I use to write down so many kingdom numbers written down cause I wouldn't bother printing them that would be slower. I use to print my kingdom home page though. We would be living our real lives while having to log in wherever we were or as soon as we got to a computer to check our kingdom. I really loved the game. That's why I still visit. I have faith it will revive. If I am still here and I have a computer with graphics and games and an xbox 360 which I am always on playing online then all those old timers can come back too. I remember pushing for the votes on mpogd and I like how you guys have made it easier to vote. I almost got a chess tournament set up for us but it never happened. I will try to see how many people I can recruit into the game. I go on ICQ and have many contacts from this game but all are offline. I think this is a fun game that all can play since everyone has a computer at work and can multitask without being caught since its text-based and wont be recognized as a game. I've had the name Foe but dunno why I changed it to Dreck. Don't know if you guys remember my old name. I haven't played in forever but when I do i stay pretty zealous. Older names were Barnaby the Great and EL MAS CHINGON. The last time I played for AI it was Cindy with me while she was holding and my hand and we use to scum the heck out of everyone. Guilds would even hit us and make up some excuse afterward. I had a good chance of winning the christmas game with the ABC clan but I got hit by my own clan member. So ya the most fun I had was playing with ISA and BoH in Leto and AI in Angelique. Don't remember playing for a Barnie guild. SOLO was a good bunch of guys. We were a small guild but all were active. Anyway anyone who has xbox live let me know so we can try and play a game together. I'm going to log in to ICQ and pray someone is on. My myspace is gone I remember having Canon on there but I just started going on facebook. If u wanna chat hit me up I'll give you my email. I searched for this place a few times over the past decade, never hard enough. Reading these names is like walking down a childhood street. Almost everyone mentioned here once meant something to me, better or worse, though it's all foggy now. The game was demanding, the role-play rose to brilliance; the community was the engine. Like a smoky room, BH got a little much for me, but count me among the newbies who found the experience formative, and were grateful to have been a part of it. Not that I'd hang out with most of you (wrong country anyway), but you all get stars in my book, particularly you who carried the load.

...It's probably best that so few of you are still around to murder me in-game. I guess I'll have some Sim-city fun by myself.

It's been six years since I said goodbye, and pressing the "reply" button still brings me right back to 1999. Anyway, I'm psychologically incapable of ignoring a nostalgia thread forever, so.

I don't even know what to write here. Some of you I still see and talk to monthly, daily, whom I won't bother listing here. But then there are people who mattered to me that vanished; so many that I feel like listing is an automatic insult by exclusion, even if I listed a hundred.

But still, just in case you see it: BetaFlame, Blackie Magic/Sakkara, LadyCat, Desdemona, Katalyna, Pandora, Taldric, Stryfe, Atla, Jason Raven, Brianna. I think of Comments and IRC all the time. And Govan, Shadowhawk, and even ThugBoy, whose roleplaying in Outcast Nobility during the first ages of Mo'Pri remains some of the best writing I've ever seen (and that I still read sometimes; thank God for obsessive archiving!). Anyone who made an alt for the Celeb RPs. Anyone in the Mr. Evernight contests. Anyone in an iParty, anyone who tried to have NightBot insult me in IRC. Everyone, really.

My memories of those years are so bound up with this place. I can't think of being 16 without thinking of my first road trip to the Toledo minibash; I can't think of my Senior year of High School without thinking of sneaking online in the library to moderate Comments as Voice Tomah. IRC, iParty, and EQ with you fools got me through some misery.

Anyway. Miss you guys; those I mentioned and those whom I end up thinking of from time to time. I hope you are all doing as great.

I want to bring back 1997-1999. It was the best of times (n the boards and in game.) It was the worst of times (in RL.) So many to name, so many to remember that I would have back. However, like so many things, I would want them back as they were. Those memories were made by wonderful people who, mostly, had the same social anxieties and zest for life at the same time. We may never attain what we had, but we will always have it as part of who we are.

Specifically, I would mention most who have already been mentioned here or there in this thread, so I won't do it again. There is one chick I want to mention who made awesome icons and disappeared around 2000, 2001 and I can never remember her name, real or posting. Ahh, early onset dimentia... damn these gray hairs.

The point of this rambling? I love and miss you all... even those who pissed me off and I thought quite douchy. Thank you all for the feelings, smiles and memories you invoke for me whenever I pass through here. You are all awesome.
