Blocking websites on windows 2000.

How do you block websites using just windows. my laptop when i connect to the internet just pops open 4 windows. all porn. I have no virus's on it. and i dont feel like figuring out why, i just dont want it to do in anymore

if you know the websites you could add 127.0.0.1 to your hosts files to match the domains of those porn sites. But really you've got virus or spyware issues. Download and install a fresh installation of some anti virus software ( "avast!" is what i use ), do a complete scan. Then try something like "Spybot search and destroy" as well. by all means uninstall afterwards but do a full scan of each to try and find your problem.
