Parse error should be fixed.

The scrolls only show you at war if your in a real war. NPC's dont fight back so dont count as a 'war' on the scrolls.

CONQUEST
is there any reason that when i wasing killing an npc kingdom, it didmt take any more than 6 turns to war them, even when i was down to taking 20 acres,,,, compared to killing an actual player and it costing me 20 turns at 20 acres.

It's more likely a cash thing.

NPC kingdoms have more cash on average than player kingdoms. Cash is a pretty impressive increaser of networth, and the turns spent are based on the comparason between networth of the two kingdoms involved in attacks.

You're reducing the land but not the cash, so the networth is remaining high.

For example:

My kingdom was left sitting at about 11 or 12 million networth before I threw down the challenge to kill it. However, my top networth was 20.5 million.

The difference is cash. Once I reached 0 turns I started tithing my way through a HUGE wad of cash, converting it into land and reducing the amount of cash that could be looted.

I was getting about 600 acres for 99,999,999 gold, and over the course of about 90 tithes from the offer screen my kingdom increased by about 50k acres, but over all reduced in networth by 8 or 9 million due to a reduction from a 10 digit amount of gold to a 7 digit amount.

I just edited the NPC script by reducing the size of NPC treasuries by a fair bit. They ought to be more normal now. Doing this ought to also reduce the networths a bit.

On the report of no NPC's less than 10 mil networth in the bloodbath thread. Assuming that was actually for conquest, it's simply a matter of the easier ones getting killed and the larger ones being left alone.

There is a 1 in 5 chance of an NPC spawning with 10k to 35k acres, a 3 in 5 chance of them spawning with 23.3k to 46.6k acres and a 1 in 5 chance of them spawing with 35k to 600k acres.

If nobody even attempts to kill the bigger kingdoms (which turns absorbed would suggest) then eventually all that's left are larger kingdoms.

A couple of ages ago NPC's spawned into one of a selection of pre-determined builds for their race.

In order to make them a little more useful in games like Domination and Bloodbath, they now spawn with a totally random build each time.

The builds and defences are tailored to the strangths of the race, but it'd now be super rare to see exactly the same build twice.

fixed.

I was trying to work out why when I logged into an NPC kingdom it reset the income to 0 and i had to spend a turn to fix it.

Hopefully the random 0 income bug is fixed now

I've also worked out why all the NPC's seem to be within the 9mil to 15mil networth range with an average of 200,000 acres.

I created a new table in the NPC database for the values to generate min, avg and max land, but also had data stored in the games table from a slightly older version of the code.

Same goes for min and max turns on an NPC

The script is pulling from one table, and I was updating the values in the other table.

I'll shortly kill off a few NPC's ... AGAIN ... and hopefully next time out they'll start occassionally popping up a bit smaller

They might start off a bit small, but now i know what table to use, hopefully they'll be easier to tweak :)

In bloodbath, I declared war and was attacking someone with one of my kingdoms.
I was getting in for a full strike but no forts were being destroyed?

Maybe they were, but it wasn't showing.

The game has basically lost your number some how. I've never quite managed to work out how that happens. Next time it happens can to you try to remember what the last screen you were on and the last thing you did were. Also, do you have two browser windows open on different kingdoms at the time? if so, same game or different game?

Assume the kingdom is broken by now, but I'd need more info, PM me the numbers of your kingdom and the other if it happens again. If scouts are possible before and after to see if forts changes happened that'd be useful too

I checked the scouts, it appeared there were some being destroyed. But I swear it said 0 forts were being destroyed. Confused the heck out of me. And no, I hadn't broken it.

Has the game ended? I have had zero turns for a couple of days now... I can't do anything. It seems like the game has just STOPPED and I was kinda getting used to being killed every other day or so... LOL!

Turns do not accumulate in the conquest game. You have a large number of turns when you begin. The only way to get more turns is to get kills and turn in the bounties for more turns.
