Reset Completed (10th October 2014) - v2.9 Bug Reports

There are still some aesthetic changes that I need to make on the new codebase, but I'm pretty sure we've now caught the majority of the bugs.

Reset will most likely occur tomorrow (Friday), but it might end up happening on the weekend.

Due to a low player count this age, there will not be a HoF for Domination, and the game will not be returning next age.

Games have been reset, with exception of Domination which has been retired.

There have been some major changes, check out the Change Log to know more.

Random Races are:

Your Rousing Wind's raged through Grave Duchy.
We destroyed 241 of Grave Duchy's Sanctums.

This is on Massacre//Conquest, but I suspect it might be similar on the other games. I am not getting any other information for damage done. Normally there is additional text that tells me how much more I need to sorc down.

Never mind, I forgot that I'd corrected some race names and needed to update the other games. Kobolds were previously just 'Kobold' so the image link was wrong.

Correct the Sidhe, Fae and Dwarven missing images too.

On clicking load/save: "Error finding races for saves" - but all saves are correctly listed below - it's an error-of an error message =)

Listing elders twice in the casualty line.

Our forces overran Titanic(50011) with ease.
You lost 0 Djinns, 0 Ifrits, 0 Cherufes, and 81 Demons. Your enemy lost 0 Spellswords, 60 Conjurers, 72 Shamen, 9 Elders, 0 Elders, and 0 Tricksters. 10402 acres of land were taken from the savages.

Your right in that this was a none message. Basically it was the script telling you that it couldn't find any personal saves. I've altered the way it works so that it outputs in the saved build menu (where you'd expect), rather than at the top as an error.

When I sorted out the racial names for Sidhe, I accidentally named their forts 'Elders'. Fixed that now.

I don't understand what you're saying here. Can you be more specific please?

[edit] found a problem with setting assistance, assume what you were having trouble with is now fixed, if not, please explain better

In conquest, when casting "Foul Light", the text is reporting as casting "Shattering Calm". I deleted my inbound news, but it showed me getting killed with Shattering Calms as well.

Your Shattering Calm's raged through Royal State.
We killed 6057 of their people. They are a people of weak allegiance, we overcame them with ease..

In conquest, I'm prevented from mass-downsizing land (1million acres). It auto prompts that it would leave insufficient land for troops even when I have no troops.

As there have been quite a few bugs on the alliances page I've started the process of rewriting some of it and giving it a bit of a facelift.

Some of the problems are because there are lots of totally different things going on, but all using the same submit button, so that will be changing. The new version of the page will be more separated by function, and each option on the screen will have it's own submit button.

The new version of the alliances page ought to be fully functional, but while it's under construction it can be accessed from a link on the old alliances page. As soon as the new version is finished and tested I'll replaced the old page with it.

I've finished overhauling the Alliances screen. Everything on there should hopefully now be working as intended, and I also hope you'll all prefer the new layout.
