Re: A dab of Gold, a pinch of Blue, alot of Red-RGE vs. NIR/
The tunnelz that ran below the lands now known as the Disputed Kingdoms were still alive with post-war activities. Take a peek outside and Red dragons could still be seen circling above the heads of giants as troops made their way out and off once again.
While the brothers of The Ranks were above ground moving back to their own keeps and tents and homes and whatnot, several of their contingent leaders had taken to using the goblinz tunnelz to meet up in the days and nights after wars between the guilds.
Loose ends were tied or at least made note-of, bets and debts paid, and all generally enjoyed the last hectic awesome hours of hospitality of Mauhura's goblin horde (until the next war, of course!) - they did have a certain way of life for themselves down below.
New alliances amongst the brothers of The Red Ranks were formed; stories from the field told, trophies shown (and shared), plans made for the next trip, and depending on the cause and outcome of the fray, payments of gold and things, or in blood, were seen to in the tunnelz as well.
Prying eyes were pinched from heads by sharp little talons.
Ears that had heard things they ought-not to have heard were shaven off, flush against the skull, with a hot-edged dagger so as to remove them for the soup pot and cauterize the wound in one (well, two) swipes.
Tongues that had wagged enough to share things with the wrong people or otherwise become useless and detrimental to their owners were also clipped with same-said hot dagger for the soup pot.
Their pots were cleaned out and packed up now. Some damn good stews had been made over the past eight moons or so.
They had made good raids and decent head-way into the Disputed Kingdoms. There were, as always, rumors mixing around fire-pits of their lord Barnabas having been seen on this field or that during the battles, or chanting in the elven groves or joining in a night raid.
She loved those rumors and would that the goblin horde would ever see such a vision for themselves, oh imagine! It was all-right, with enough blood she would see her lord rise as a God once again.
Lots of work ahead for that. Many more people needed.
Mauhura stood at the edge of an alcove watching as a small group of varied-races hashed out times for caravan exchanges along the road home and their next raids on the banner-less, ahh she couldn't help but grin a small gobliny grin, all were on the same level in The Ranks and in their tunnelz.
One hooked almost tusk-like tooth rubbed a little against its spot on her cheek, she liked seeing all these different ones together, even if it was hard for some of her goblinz to leave the lovely fleshy earses of the Ranks OWN elves on their pretty heads. har har!
A scent.
Like cinnamon and scorched earth.
The grin faded slowly and she sniffed. The sniff turned to a louder sniff she stood still in place, inhaling deeply.
The sniffs turned to a hocking sound behind her throat as she turned from the alcove and entered an westerly tunnel entrance. One hand on the rock threshold, she snifffffffffffed the tunnelface.
Spinning around with a growling tired snicker she literally stopped traffic in at a Y-intersection.
"Who da FOOK let de witch pass right 'errrrre eh? eh!?! ugh!," she smacked the smoothness of the tunnel-side with a taloned, yet-unwashed and grubby hand and glared around the now clogged intersection and into the alcove where the others yet stood, looking back at her questioningly. "Weezagitdezentoovwitch. Dat one loooze in Leeetoz FREEEE ZEETEEEZ?!"
She smacked her hand against the wall again, closed her eyes, said a prayer, and finally let out a chuckle and moved aside allowing tunnel traffic to commence.
All tunnel conversation turned now to wonder what dat Tarawenchiewitch could have been doing comin down from the mountains and running around the Free Cities; who had let her out alone?
Mauhura heard it all finally, the wenchiewitch had gone on'a pubcrawl of sorts. Well wasn't that just wonderful! Apparently bored and looking for Carlos again and somewhere along the way she .... what? Really now?
Noteses between their wenchiewitch and Nymphsong? Treaties toooo well well well!
The goblin one thought to herself: Who da FOOK let dat damn wenchiewitch talk ta some damn heathen alone!? Damnit! Mauhura's head hurt. This is kind of thing was an added bonus with this growing brotherhood, exactly this kind of thing, so the wenchiewitch wouldn't wonder off and get herself killed or disappear and could live to see Barnabas rise to the throne of Heaven, not get filleted in some back-alley when her mind went wandering off and left the body behind when was least expected. She had plenty of people to wander around with now at least.
One night it's a "harmless" treaty-talk with a decent-enough heathen leader but the next, dead! Who knew!?
The wenchiewitch didn't think about things like that she just wandered around, talked to who she wanted went where she wanted everyone was her friend and blahblahblaaaargh! oh goodlordBarnabas help them all!
She needed more w'Elf ear stew now. That damned Nymphsong! She finally came out of her trace-like muttering about these "TERMS" they had to adhere to, due to one damned wenchiewitch not being distracted on her way through the tunnelz! SIIIIIIIIGH (haaaha!)
The headache subsided after a while of walking around the firepit in the alcove smelling-up the fresh stew pot she had Horance unpack and get going.
Another while later and she was sitting almost-satisfied sipping stew and had convinced herself that the terms weren't all THAT bad.
The gold was good, this "TGE" group she wasn't aware of, but then, who knew what the heathen smoked these days (haha j/k, last time ribbing! lol).
She did suspect something was amiss with the fort calculations but she would have to pray on that one and then decide what she thought of it.
Eh "nap time" she was usually of a mind as Seska with not bothering but may be some holiday from the fray could be in order around the Ranks.
About that time old Horance hobbled his way over. The blind, one-legged kobold gave a slobbery slurp and swallowed what was obviously a page or two of missive. A belch and, "BwhwwaghhhHIC! Mazza! JooozoozawriteeeezadeNymphoooonznawpzaaaa,".
Horance belched again and finally continued, telling Mauhura about some final term of reading a great tome of Nymphsong's and writing that damned heathen back about it? Oh and send word out around the realms of what they learned from it all?
The goblin saw now, one thing the one called Aeropagitica had apparently said was certainly true - dat fookin wenchie was too damn nice. Geee-looo-poolz? Whut dazfookuzdatsheet? No matter. Mauhura didn't care about "jello pools" unless ...well, throw in some bloody elves and all sorts of fun could be had she knew. Maybe Carlos knew what JELLO was. ...
A letter back on a war instruction tome, for a war-raised goblin? Well sure why not! (smile)
"Horrrannz! Gitdatunzskeeenzraady weeza zeendboookwerrrrdzferimz!"
Horance, Barnabas-love the old coot, had already made a sheet of hide ready for his mistress. If Nymphsong was lucky, Mauhura would write in the elvish script but the chosen hmm medium of communication would still definitely smell like goblin...

I hope that everyone apologizes to Nymph, because its complete nonsense what NIR and HB have been doing. There are less than 50 players right now, and you are resorting to guild swapping to win ages?
Sorry Nymph, I believed Aero/Seska that it was just bad timing/luck. Now I realize it was purposeful, and it sucks because I could have done something. Its my fault, I take responsibility.
And I also think this technically means Letos do not have a deal with NIR, would be a good time to get some free land.
Change is coming, and if you are not with me, you are against me. Those who choose to play this way will face me, today, tomorrow and in the future. Everyone gets a chance, HB/NIR have blown it.
I sincerely apologize for what is to come.

Right, i was planning this the whole damn time.
I do not use these tactics or any others. My tenuous interest in this game is finished. Ciao.

One,
I posted the time lines. It was bad luck on Nymph, not rescouting before attacking. But it was a faux pas to hit me along with the barny guild too, to attempt to 'even' it out. I'd say his guild did well enough, considering they ended that war with a 100k+ and an 80k realm.
You're allowed to be angry. You're allowed to complain. But you cannot complain about it being a down hit though, and it is your own fault for carrying 100% scum on goblin kingdoms. I certainly wouldn't have wasted turns on you if you had been all trolls. You'd 've just been out some gold.
Respectfully,

You guild swapped 2x to screw other guilds.
"Scouted again"
See Aero, I am not dumb. I understand that you got scouted by Leto and ran to HB to screw up their plans. Then after the war, you built under HB so that you had protection and were protected from me.
Now when you are fully built and ready for war, you leave HB again.
Its okay to be scared, I would be too. How many resources will Angelique have to waste each age to contain me? How long will they wage a blood feud for your transgressions.
Thank you for bringing in the new age, you will be remembered.

Well, I will simply post in here. TRR had a terms of peace violation. We have instilled "economic sanctions" on that player's realms until he/she decides to correct the issue. GM has been notified.

Nymph, I don't see where "economic sanctions" were any part of our peace terms, like an "or else!".
I would have thought if something would come up, like say, 111 forts "over the limit," you may have messaged me first.
Or hey, burn 111 GHs then. But ya burned alot.
That's .... ehh *shrugs* you and I need to talk about that later.
After we figure out wth is going on with these other heathen here ;p

Great..so HB disbanded because one dude made some wild accusations. I guess it doesn't matter--HB really didn't make much a contribution last war, anyway. I think I participated in the killing of one kingdom but there was no guild coordination--so why have a guild?
Re: A dab of Gold, a pinch of Blue, alot of Red-RGE vs. NIR/
Joe,
Take your time getting whatever is left of your guild back together...I saw Bundes has been inactive for about two weeks now as well.
And here I thought Honey Badgers could never die.
