Unity

Post by MoP » Thu Oct 08, 2009 12:27 pm

A new project is starting at work, and it involves gamedevelopment. We get the opportunity to experiment with Unity. Is there anyone in here with experience with that tool?

So that is what Kazzie derived the name for the game (may the great game in the sky have its soul) from! ;)

Yeah, the graphics in Evernight were also made with Unity. Amazing what that tool can do, huh?

Bah, people stealing my game name, although, as Unity isn't going to be a game here, I'll let them off with a warning ;)

It lets you create 3D worlds for games. And a lot more, actually. It's a framework to build entire games without having to mess with writing your own rendering code and such.
