Here is the reality. We are indeed ruthless in war. But I gave you a way out. Yes, it was a slap in your face, but you had to know what was coming. And it gave your people a way out.
Tara had interesting comments about the whole notion of demanding a land sacrifice for peace, and truly I do not usually demand such things for peace. But the temperament of this war has been arrogant and disrespectful toward my guild. It is, of course, all in good fun. But there is a price to be paid for such whimsical behavior. Further, you track your war record on the web page; this is not lost on me. I could have accepted a draw, with your accepting my terms for peace. But by declaring peace before you had met my sole requirement, you insulted my generous offer to spare you and your guild. Now you will suffer a true defeat.
Let me be clear: I knew your advantage would be turned if you did not accept peace. This was part of my arrogance. If I thought we were lost I would have jumped at the chance for peace.
At this point, my conditions for peace, and more, have been met. And Needlessly so. You warriors have fought bravely with great honor and inflicted far more damage than we could reciprocate. I will be far more respectful with your conditions for peace, when you submit them to me.

No, I don't think NIR is a bunch'a cry-babies that need nappies, not IC or OOC, quite the contrary, both IC and OOC I think your guild is top notch and needs a top notch beating if you're to be kept from winning the age for the Blues; the aviary that was posted sounded a little arrogant in itself but maybe that was just how I read it. =) I do agree wars can get dirty, but I also hope when people want to get dirty about it on the boards, they do with some style. Any statement to the contrary indicates to me that you are either a whiney bitch or that you have a sad, misguided concept of reality. You want the top spots for Angelique, I understand that. There was never any disrespect meant by declaring peace, it was a plan to hopefully slow you down while we decided what to do since we all can't be on all the time. Evidently you were still able to declare a guild war, shit happens.

oh another fun fact, if you restore you can't individually dec on a kingdom for another 24 hours. good thing I got me some guild privs

Sometimes your own words sound like those of a coherent and seasoned war general bent on winning land and the age for that bitchgoddess Angelique, which is great, that kin'a guy I can war against all age and have fun.
When you contradict yourself between words and deeds, not so much (see above*) Reylan and Leif are pretty "straight forward" too. So am I. Does anyone know if someone goes to 0% built land by sorcery, is that kdm 'dead'? I mean for like in Bloodbath.

About wars that drag on, it's barely been 48hrs since you started, right?
It's 50hrs for full turns, and if G or SUCKS had just taken a build or fort-up cycle the day before, you caught them with less than full turns which they have already used for an initial retal, so I don't see where it's dragging on quite yet.

Point of that is wars in Guilds don't "drag out" in my mind until it's been about ohh at least a week, or two
