I don't particularly care about OUR gainbacks - defensive war mode. All I care about is making sure your overall gains are kept to a minimum, and so far that is working out rather nicely.

I also noticed some disproportianate turn usage when striking people by scum, and found declaring war on them reduces the penalty significantly.

I was sitting on turns, 30k+ elan, and over 5k temps on each dom at the time...you would have gotten me...but someone(s) in your guild would not have been a happy camper

At the time, I was online expecting to get paired with your guild or TRR in a strike by NIR that never materialized. I am usually not offensive in nature, but I am starting to get the itch...and not in my pants...sickos!!!

Straight up scum killing will take the turns of 3 kingdoms and possibly change. Fog being up is the ultimate buzz kill on a straight up scum kill.

Considering the scum kill looks to have only taken you ~220 turns, I'm guessing your Centaur did most of the work, but Leif cleaned it up. Not using a t5 scum, it usually takes ~ 400 turns to scum kill someone straight up--the fog must have been thin, as well. Nice luck for you. My fog percentage hitting NPCs in Dom tonight was 26%

Fire, The ruler of Nyrond is much too important a person to actually sit around and watch his slum-lord properties be destroyed. He'll place the insurance claim and move on. No worries.
but for real, I was most unpleased to log in and see Nyrond gone. It was a small consolation prize that you wasted the turns to do it with scum!
