Basically, the game database was backed up on Tuesday last week (26th November) at 21:33 GMT. If I reset the game when I move server, and count that reset as the 'true' reset and HoF, for a couple of days you guys 'could' play out the end of the age again, checking to make sure that things are working.

The game was backed up on the 26th of November (and days subsequently as usual). However that specific backup is the current status of the database on the NEW server and was moved over to test stuff pre-migration. Basically the choice doesn't happen until the server move actually happens, while we're here on the old server the age is just going on as it was before. The HoF will be created from the status of the game on the old server, WHEN the migration happens as previously promised.

When I move the game to the new server - which is taking longer than intended - you will see it happen because notices will go up warning people which server they are on from a DNS point of view. I can either reset the database (that currently exists on the new server) starting off a new age OR I can leave the old backup that I moved over to test things in place, and you can play out the end of the age again (as if you'd jumped back in time to the 26th and been all given full turns).

Having said that, we could make the backup from the 26th the official HoF reset, it would certainly be possible, although not what I said would happen. But that would mean that the post-Thanksgiving warfare that occurred after the 26th and is still going on, never happened. It would also mean that everything between the 26th and the migration is wasted play that doesn't count for anything, the testing will still need to happen.

I have repelled like 3 attempts by TRR (Carlos/Nymph) to kill me via sorc.
At least one member of JC dropped guild to keep from being hit.
NIR seems to have popped up out of nowhere.
I have players preparing to drop guild to be unhittable as well.

I think I can speak for everyone in Leto. We won. It is over. I am sorry it continued this long.

Kaz, if you want to continue this age any longer I may be in danger of losing players. It should end now. Unless it already ended and this is just stress testing ... in which case, please give our enemies free turns so they can take us down ... for testing sake.

I don't want anyone leaving over this. I was actually more or less play testing sorc against someone I know who can take the punishment. I do agree though...the age is dragging I am ready for a change

I wouldn't call them real sorc attempts, I mean us using a few turns here and there not even coordinating is more just testing the waters. Not like you saved yourself from a sorc kill or being parking lotted.

I am ready for the reset myself, but with the way the war has been this post seems well silly. Congrats on winning I guess.

On a serious note, to make sure no one quits I will ask everyone to not attack until tomorrow once everything is set and its just testing.
