Interesting first war. It's not often you see the guild that struck first talking about setting up peace.

Out of interest, was the result due to

• a severe case of rust?
• hitting too far uphill?
• or lack of early age elan Vs forts finally being used?

It's also unusual to request peace talks and then spend hundreds of turns trying to sorc/scum kill someone, just after.
I have voiced my opinion to our leaders of what I would like, but either way it was/is a good first war of welcome back to guilds! You guys are feisty sorc kingdoms... Grrr

As a general rule, I do not stop hitting until peace is agreed upon. I have sent my offer to Nagsh in PM, the moment I recieve word I will put ceasefire on the banner.

The request for peace early is because of several reasons:

A) Too big an upohit with less than stellar attendance - and that is not faulting my people at all. I did not do my usual prep work beforehand; IE finding out peoples online schedules, that sort of thing.

B)I am personally sick as dogshit right now and have been since wednesday - the day after the declaration was made.

C) I don't like fighting wars for weeks or even a week - we've had a solid 4 day run of hostilities, and have no desire to either kill all oif them, or have all of us killed.

D) FUck man, elan. Nothing to do with forts - PLing is a waste of elan and time, since it does little but temporarily dfisable a kingdom. The only truly useful sorc is sorc kill, since it removes the entire kingdom from the equation. With sorc leaving all of a kingdoms quarries behind, its just a complete waste of timew to PL someone unless its specfificallyt to remove forts, and usually its more efficient to just kill them anyway

Also, I will be somewhat occupied this weekend, what with doctors and all, so I don't wanna leave people hangin.

A 10 day NAP with so few other possible targets seems like a bad idea. I mean of course you don't want to keep fighting each other all the time, and you don't want one guild jumping the other after 2 days of so called peace, but perhaps a shorter NAP would be in order, at least an official NAP, like 4-5 days.

In other words, you are making me nervous, as my guild is literally the only possible target for either of your guilds...

And Naggie-poo, you already know how paranoid I am when it comes to my guild and its defense...

Oh and Nagash, you're a wimp for letting them have peace the moment you turned the tide and could have dusted them to the bottom of the scrolls (most of them.) I literally told you via scribe just a few hours before Aeyliea's post, that Empire would sue for peace soon and you ought not take it and finish them off. Her post made me feel pretty darn smart, as well as your reaction, since I predicted you would grant peace, also.

So when BaN is at war with JustBlind in the future, and I sue for peace the moment we start to lose a grip, in order to save my guildies from being creamed in the very next strike, I will expect the same treatment, naturally.

If you can't tell that I'm just busting your balls, then I need to work on my sarcastic, dry humor before I make more threatening threads...
