Drunken rambling and ex-wives.

Post by Sikil » Mon Jan 14, 2013 4:44 am

Well, I was going about my business today, cracking my head against the wall while trying to figure out a scripting bug and wondering where I had put my drink when one of my photo albums fell off the shelf a few feet away. I went to it and low and behold, it fell to one of the few surviving wedding pictures between me and Kaiko. Now, we've been divorced for years and I still find myself thinking about her now and again. No, not thinking of hooking up with her again. That's way in the past and drowned under multiple bottles of vodka. But thought it would be nice to talk to her, catch up, and maybe even try to see if it was possible we could still be friends. Yeah, I know. Friends with your ex... scary! But that's where we had started out and if it was my choice, that's where it would be now.

So yeah, thats my rambling for the day. So what do you all think? Should I try to get a hold of her again or just perma-block her name on search engines? :P

Why not?

I don't see how it can hurt.

If you've not spoken for ages, the worst that can really happen is you stop speaking again.

This is of course assuming that you are both 100% on the same wavelength regarding not getting back together.

As per Kaz, if your both on the same wave length then yeah its fine. Often with seperations, one party still wants back in...if thats the case then you should probably stay away to save hassle

WHY NOT!? ...Fuckit! =)

oh but wait, fair warning, making Good Friends with your Ex may just lead to a VeryOverProtectiveFemaleFriend; or a VeryChattyWithYourOwnFriendsSinceWeBrokeUp-Person.
