Hey Owly ... Did they find a rock or a UFO?

Post by Reylan Talonspyre » Tue Jun 19, 2012 12:17 am

http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2012/06/ ... lien-hunt/

I was curious, so I went to their website. I do love a good mystery in our modern world. I then joined their Facebook Group. One of the divers actually accepted my request. They keep posting cryptic crap about "life changing moment" and "it was like a dream" and other great stuff for the comic strips.

My thoughts, it is a giant alien penis. Notice the description: Mushroom Like ... perfect shaft. Yeah. 200 ft diameter alien penis.

Venus, eat your heart out.

Enjoy.

Do you know? I think these guys are swindlers like the dick-cheeses at Ghost Hunters. I was born a skeptic. I enjoy being one. I enjoy proving the world is mysterious, but not in a supernatural way ... or maybe it is. If this is a UFO, that is a whole 'nother discussion.

I believe in life elsewhere. Just not on Earth.

But its fun watching these idiots make secret cults about flying alien UFO penises, and then off themselves in secret rites. ESPECIALLY when the ATF is involved :)

I am not so sure that is what is going on here. There is an object at the bottom of Baltic (hated that monopoly piece) and I can only hope the US Government is smart enough to send in a submarine, torpedo it, then GTFO.

Humanity doesn't need a 200 foot mushroom or an alien saucer. Speaking on behalf of Humanity, I would like to say, that the truth is out there, but first we should probably deal with all the terrorists.

Mitt Romney would find out what that UFO is.

And Obama would figure out a way to make the public believe this is why we should give him allour money so he can give it to people who don't want to work.

ANYWAY.

Just because its on foreign soils...seabed....whatever, doesn't mean some crackpot nut here stateside will decide not to create the Mushroom-Headed Extraterrestrial Penis Cult, and YOU know it as well as I do.

I mean, look at the evidence. People still think Elvis is alive.

Girls with guns get dropped like a million basis points.

The last thing you ever want is a girl mad with a gun, they are scarey enough with out one. This is just common sense.

During (and at the end of the ice-age) this structure would have been above land (like loads of other under-water finds).

The only real difference is that some people have referred to it as a UFO because of it's shape.

I suspect it's something man-made and pre-ice age, although this is probably the best place to look for updates. Always best to go to source.

It's a shame they have no decent images on the site. The one on there from 'deviantart' is obviously someone digitally creating a spaceship using the shape. Although there is an email to ask for images/video

It's the media that speculated 'UFO' rather than the treasure hunters that found it.

I miss Hitler ... on the History Channel.

As for the UFO (Unidentified Floating Object), it is probably just media hype intended to drive more expeditions to other crazy ass locales. If not, then maybe they found a meteor or some other cool piece of ancient civilizations.

The site and the Facebook page made me question the integrity of this "organization". But since they are from Sweden, I know they have no integrity.

Oops spoke too soon:

From Peter Lindberg on their Facebook Page:

Hello friends, I have not written anything here in a while, can maybe be explained by the fact that I have really been out there... I will drop you some of my believes:

1. I do not believe that the circle is a wreckage of an flying craft from WWII till rescent time (or from some thousands of year back for that matter)

2. I do not believe the circle is a wreckage of any kind of known floating vessels from the past or from modern time.

3. I do not belive the cicle is a construction made by someone efter the ice age (submarine bases etc included).

4. I do believe the surface of the circle is made of mineral.

5. I do believe that the surface looks like concrete through the ROV camera but I do not belive it's made of concrete.

6. I do belive that the very strait lines and angular formations we can see on the side scan sonar image from last year really excists. The odd thing is that I thought, before this expedition that when we could get close these shapes maybe should appear not being so straight as on the side scan sonar image, in reality they are even straighter! It really looks like constructed parts on the circle.

7. I do belive it might have been volcanic activity in the area and even on (or in) the circle after the ice age, or before, but then it do not fit with what we know about the ice age.

8. I do belive that the circle "rests" on top of what looks like an pilar of rock, raising approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. The circle it self appears to be approx 4 meters thick. In other words, the top of the circle raises 12 meters above the surrounding bottom.

9. I do belive we must find out on the next expedition if the circle and the pilar are fixed in one piece or if they are sepparated in some way.

10. I do belive that the path, or the track, is a ridge raising slowly up from the bottom to a hight of approx 8 meters above the surrounding bottom. I also belive that the ridge is made of softer material than the pilar and the circle.

What I do not belive because I know, is the fact that we found a round hole approx 25 cm in diamater going straight into the surface of the circle, how odd is not that? How deep? No idea, we just saw it for some seconds before we decided to back off to preserv the visibility for the divers that was going down later on. They did not find the hole though. It might be some more holes, at this moment we do not know.

Well some comments on that before I continue with some more belives.

Cheers

Now the above posts represents showmanship, if not the horrible job Swedish schools do of teaching English. I mean, here, I won't blatantly tell you what I found, I will insinuate and let you jump to conclusions on your own. I mean, isn't that what real scientists do with things like gravity and string theory?

Belive me ... I am Swedish.

Fuckers.

This thread has become boring, I live in the modern world, I want instant gratification.

I refuse to wait years to find out that this is nothing.
