Command & Conquer Tiberium Alliances

Post by Kaz » Thu May 31, 2012 8:59 pm

I found this game a few days ago, it's a free browser-based game by EA based around command and conquer.

I'm quite enjoying it, although am not sure how long that'll last. The end of NPP after a week of play will either make the game more fun or less fun. We'll see. When you get killed you just have to relocate and fix your base, all the work is not lost.

If anyone fancies joining me, create an instance on World 16, it's a 'european' world but I dont really think that really makes much difference.

It doesn't matter if you create Nod or GDI from an alliance point of view, I went GDI.

If you come join me on world 16, make sure you start in the top right sector (North East). It's a LONG way to the middle of the map, and if you dont start in the NE corner you'll never find me.

My leadername is 01iPi0 (automatically uses existing EA account username), and my alliance is 'Fury of the Ten'. Hopefully a few from here will join, and we can find some new blood from the playerbase to bring back here. I'm advertising Monarchy in the alliance description.

Grunt and I have started on opposite sides of the NE sector. He's at 781:132 and I'm at 878:247

In order to meet up, over the next week or so, I'll be heading 100 sector West and he'll head 100 sectors South.

If you join us, stay where you are until you get to level 10 or so, then start working your way South, West or South-West from your starting location to the level 14/15 region around 781:247

[edit]

I've made two moves towards the meeting point and am now at 842:261. As I'll be out of NPP first, and this seems (for now) like a good spot, I plan to stay here until I leave NPP in a few days.

I'm pretty close to Bootsy Collins, but still a way off from Grunt and Sikil. I'm going to stick where I am now until I leave NPP. Unless of course the neighbourhood changes for the worse. Have a tunnel in my backyard, plus another close by, so get a reasonable selection of camps and bases to attack.

I've stopped next to a group of 5 or 6 low ranked players out of NPP so It might even serve as a reasonable meeting place. I ought to be able to open up quite a large conquored base area around me for the 24 hours after I leave NPP in a few days. Plenty of places for the rest of the alliance to settle in if they chose.

Sikil came out of NPP early by accident, so as Grutn and Sikil are really close to each other, it might be worth moving within range so that while Grunts in NPP his support wepon can point at Sikil's vulnerable ass ;)

Having a really hard time with the C&C website the last few days. Really low frame rate, something like 10fps on average. Getting disconnected after every battle as well. REALLY annoying.

Sorry if I'm not keeping up as much as I should, I'm trying my best boys.
