Only a few doors down from the Jesus Army ( who have bought an old cinema for some random reason ), some Centre for the Holy Ghost, or something similarly worded, has opened. Really getting worried about the religious nut jobs appearing in numbers

I <3 my place. I moved from a monster of a townhome (4 bed 2 bath) to a small cozy 2 bed 2 bath. I refuse to share a bathroom with a smell teenage boy. And there is an AMAZING sushi place 1 1/2 blocks from my front door.

Oooh... which one? I tried quite a few in Reno

I sadly live on the 21st floor of an old flat block in them middle of Birmingham, but also have a fantastic sushi place within 5 minutes walk. If only I could afford to eat there more often.

However on the plus side my local rock club is on on the street behind my flat, so minimum drunken staggering distance on a night out.

Rickshaw Ricks, Jez, there is one on S. Virgina, but they opened a new one on Longely and I am almost at the corner of Longely and E. Patriot. They have the all you can eat sushi and sashimi that they cut and roll to order and these amazing wanton crab cheese rolls. Not rangoons, but a roll with this thick slightly sweet sauce.

LOL, they are catering to AMerican sensibilities, I suppose. There was a place in Sacramento called Ninja Sushi. That was so wrong I didn't even know where to start!

Damn, that place sounds wonderful. But it wasn't there when I lived there - in fact most of the places down where you are weren't there when I first moved to Reno. The Sushi club was supposedly the best, but the service was slow at that place. There was also a sushi place near the airport that was good, but everyone thought it was good and it was packed all the time.

I will have to check it out the next time I'm in Reno - which I hope to be next summer.

Me too, the one place I have NOT found is a good chinese place. And I don't mean PF Chang "good" either. I like those little mom and pop places where everything is fresh and good. All there is near me is an all you can eat place. It is ok, but just ok. Sort of the limbo of chinese food. It isn't good, but it isn't bad, but it isn't good.
