Greetings Madam Maven. Also, greetings to old time friends... Isi, Entropos, Crom, Sparky, etc. And greetings as well to old advesaries... you know who you are. )

So, Anyone got any intel to share? What's up with Dustin? Souldemon? C'mon... gimme da scoop, what's been happening?

As for me, a quick update. I left the Department to go Active Army... well.. AGR, Which is Active Guard Reserve. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!! I now officially hate life. The money and benefits are way better, but that is all. There is nothing good to say about being AGR except that it has reinforced my perception that if you are thinking of joining, go Air Force.

Well, I'm back in Iraq now.. and I'm now a Medic.. if you can believe that. I hope you do, cause I still don't believe it, but that ain't stopping the Army from making me stick people with needles and cutting them on occasion.

Anyway, I came back to touch bases with a few folks here who I miss in a cyber sort of way. I most likely will not be active in many debates, which I'm sure is good news for some. I will be popping in from time to time just ta' check in on folks.

So, Anyone got any intel to share? What's up with Dustin? Souldemon? C'mon... gimme da scoop, what's been happening?

Short version of a long story.

Dustin stepped away from evernight and it was run by Souldemon, Sunblade and Whit. I joined in 2005 and took over development, at some point Gili joined the team, and Sunblade left. Souldemon walked away in around 2007/2008, I walked away a year later, and Dustin returned to take over again. A year later Dustin decided to close evernight after all, so Souldemon and I stepped back in again, but chose to start fresh. Demmy is still around, just re-branded.

Kaz came in at some point to take over .... but we are pretty sure he is a robot from our future Chinese Overlords. Who we would like to welcome to the internet and offer this lovely basket of muffins.

Oh and my grandson is now a year old!! (the one you would reember frpom before did not make it, it was a still birth). They live in Alton Illionois, and I have NO idea where that is except I am going there as soon as i can reasonably get away to go visit my grandson even though it means being near my pig buggering moron ex.
