Thats pretty cool, I like the detail. But to be honest I don't really get the bird head.
Even a ghost needs to breathe.

Re: Fantasy Art of the Tonan Races
Thought I'd post a section from the email that accompanied the picture. It answers your bird head question.
Nicole wrote:As you can see I have attached the first drawing. I thought I would just take a photo so you can see it and if you like it I will scan it in at work in the week. I thought about trying to dipict a character made out of air but I thought this would be very difficult for the sculptures to capture. So I went with creatures and weapons that are at home in the air, plus the tornado effect to symbolise the mystic element. I tried to elude that the creature may still indeed be made out of air and can de and re-matrialise like the wind. I stuck to the Black line drawing as requested but if you like this then I can do a full blown illustration. If I was to choose a main colour I was thinking that would depend on the mood (like clouds) Calm - blues and whites. Battle /Anger - Black and purple (thunder storms)
Any let me know what you think, I know I started with the most difficult and main illustration could be re-jigged a bit to provide a more celtic feel i.e. weapon motifs

Re: Fantasy Art of the Tonan Races
Some exciting new concept artwork by Alan Perry.
Image contains a selection of Vampire concepts for the Lamia and Mullo troop types. Lamia are a cheap offense troop so I suggested a clan of militant vampires. The artist has tried out a few different original races for the vampires. Mullo are cheap defensive troops, so I suggested armoured vampires who fight with dueling sheilds.

Almost forgot to post this one. It's the first finished version of a vampire troop by Alan Perry.

Re: Fantasy Art of the Tonan Races
I've just received 4 new awesome vampire concepts from Alan Perry.
The first two are new versions of the male and female lamia vampires posted earlier, the second two are male and female raksasa vampires.

Re: Fantasy Art of the Tonan Races
Alan Perry decided to do a new concept for the Male Lamia vampires. The old Lamia vampire sketch has been modified to become the first Aswang sketch (complete with a coil of rope attached to a grapple).
Rather than link to individual images for the new Aswang, Lamia and Mullo images, along with more finished versions of the Wampyr, here is a summary that includes a finished quality sketch for each of the 5 types of Vampire.

All the existing Vampire images can be found on of of the Table Warfare Facebook Galleries (you don't need a facebook account to view them).
