New Monarchy Artwork (Icons, Troops, Buildings, Gods etc)

Over the next few months I'll be posting the commissioned artwork in here for people to comment on.

I'll start with a basic list of the icons being done by Chris Getliffe.

They are currently on a greenish background with a bit of a glow to show how they might look.

Going from left top right and top to bottom.

War Offence, War Defence, Sorcery, Scum, Tithe Bonus, Fort Strength
Gold, Expenses, Income, Networth, Peasants, Elan,
BRT, Train Rate, Income Building, Population Building, Troop Building, BRT Building

The first three are overlays for me to use making some additional icons. The others are nearly all for the various screens (or locations) generally included for navigation within the game.

From left to right, top to bottom : Banner, Search, Score, Kingdom, Bounty, Load/Save, Message Boards, Logout, Account Manager, Help, Storyline, Game Info, Troop Info, Leave NPP, Suicide, UB Scouts, UB Solo, Hall of Fame, Offer Mercy, Surrender, Leader

Also, here are a selection of icons by me. These are either based on assets I put together myself (e.g turns, turns used and the overlay for xx ranks), or I've put them together using assets provided by chris in other icons.

It's taken a while, but the first batch of artwork from Mark Beer should start coming in more frequently now.

He's already sent me 4 sketches, but has asked me to hold off showing artwork until it gets to the ink stage.

He's doing 9 pages in total, each page made up of 20 sub-images. Originally I expected those sub images to all be drawn at 5cm square, but it seems he's doing each of them on their own bit of paper, so we'll end up with some really nice work.

The process of the artwork is `pencil sketch` -> `lightbox ink` -> `digital colour`

Thought I'd update this thread with links to the finished colour troop/god images that are currently in the Gallery. We've got a few new artists on board, so hopefully we''l get the full selection sorted soon, and that will allow us to use the images in-game, as well as create some awesome new resources for roleplay
