I'm giving advanced warning now that all games will reset during the weekend of the 18th-20th July 2014.

IN ADDITION

I will be upgrading MySQL and will need to dump all the databases on the server before hand to ensure that I can restore everything if something goes wrong with the upgrade process.

There are several large databases on this server, including the huge Tempers Ball archives. There are also a couple of commercial sites that will need to be given priority in the case of anything going wrong.

Dumping them will take some time, and MySQL needs to be offline during the process.

That means that Monarchs Glen will be down throughout the MySQL upgrade process.

I'll use our official Facebook page to advise of any issues, so it's worth bookmarking the page, and liking it while you're at it I'll probably post on the group too, but the 'official' page will be my priority.

I have finished the process of upgrading the server (everything went fine) and have just finished resetting the various games.

All games should now be up and running again, enjoy the new age.

There have been no major changes this age, but - fingers crossed - the art work ought to be completed by the next reset, so if all goes well, this will be the final reset before the aesthetic overhaul takes place.
