The amount of turns used is significantly highter than originally intended. Especially with the NPC's in place.
I am considering putting a time limitation between collecting bounty claims much like caravans and declaring peace.
E.g 1x bounty every 6, 12 or 24 hours.
Doing this would make the game much more of a king of the hill game, than a who's online most game.
opinions?

Re: Conquest Bounties
not a fan of that idea
you are suppose to be rewarded for killing doms
it leaves you helpless when being attacked, esp when it cost 25 turns to counter
Basicaly
you are punishing ppl for being active
in a game like massace
that will run off what small player base this game type has
plus thats a big part of strats, ppl save those turns to use them when they are needed
best way to slow down active players from dominating is put the warmonger function in use for scum killing

Re: Conquest Bounties
It's a shame nobody else had an opinion.
As a player with 900+ kills and a hell of a lot of used bounties, Shred's opinion was an obvious one. The idea that it'd drive people away seems a little extreme, based on the fact that nobody else has commented.
With NPC's and bounties, you basically have no real limitations other than how much time you can spend playing. The idea isn't to be a who can kill the most NPC's game, but a king of the hill game that actually means something.
I'm thinking about a comprimise. Rather than a time limit between collecting all bounties, I'm now working out how to code a time limit between collecting bounties from NPC kills.
Would be nice to get a bit more feedback first though

Re: Conquest Bounties
Shred has a post in Dom. that says he's away for a while (why you have no response from him).
I understand what you mean, and at the moment i don't know how well it would work. usually you stay at top for a good 24-48 hours without anyone else touching you. However maybe if there was more incentive to take out the king, it would work. Like you only keep your bounties until someone kills you, then they get your bounties (or half of them or 1/4 or something). This would change the game from killing someone, getting to be king, sitting and dying. But as Mav said, it would also take away the drive to kill things, because you don't get to permanently keep the bounties.
However, with the few people that still play, i think it would be reasonable to just experiment with how it works and see what people say. Right now its only about 4-5 people i see playing this one.

I suspect things will be a lot more interesting in Massacre now. I just sorc killed Ertai's king and with it went a LOT of acres. Now it should be much more difficult to get huge again. There are no kingdoms over 4 million acres now and probably won't be one over 10 million for a while again if people stay active.
