Shadow Guilds, would have to say no more than 4 kingdoms working together.
With Forts, Would like to see strength increased to make them mean a bit more. Would probably have to increase cost to match this. Maybe have it so that to build a Fort you need to have so many trained troops that get taken to man the Fort(like 5 t4 fully trained). Maybe have it so they don't take away from the troop cap as much.

Re: Define your ideal Monarchy game
Back when I was admin I found a guy on DeviantArt who was happy to have his stuff used on the front page or in game as long as he was given credit somewhere on the site - that's far more than most amateur artists can hope to get (ie. someone actually seeing their stuff). If you're serious about putting images on the site, even if it's just a changing graphic to reflect the size of your kingdom, using DeviantArt or the stock image galleries (which admittedly cost $5 or so per image, but not the amount it would take to commission custom work) would avoid the copyright issue entirely.
No POV on the game as it currently is, as I haven't played since the Evernight admin guild died a death, but ultimately running fantasy games on the current codeset (or any set we've had in the last decade) has offered dwindling appeal. My opinion was, and still is, that putting a different front end on the code (a Western cowboy game, a zombie game, whatever) would have more of a chance of bringing new players in than just adding a new feature to Monarchy/Evernight/Monarchy. Twinning with a more successful game, even moving the game onto their servers, would bring in an instant influx of players and could stop the admin having to pay out of pocket for server costs.

Re: Define your ideal Monarchy game
Is it sad that I recognize Sunblade more by his avatar than by his actual name?
